FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can you tell me about the prints?
The photographs are museum quality fine art prints on Epson Exhibition Fiber paper. It is acid and lignin free, designed to have the look and feel of silver halide and offers the highest Dmax available. I use archival Epson UltraChrome K3 ink. If protected behind glass and hung out of direct sunlight, your print will last approximately 100 years.
What sizes are available?
I can accomodate any size you need. However here’s a list of popular sizes that will fit best store-bought frames:
5″ x 7″
8″ x 10″
11″ x 14″
16″ x 20″
18″ x 24″
24″ x 36″
30″ x 40″
36″ x 48″
36″ x 54″
Need a custom size? Not a problem. Send me the dimensions and what image you are interested in and I can email you a proof with cost. The larger in size you go, please consider how you will mount the print. Glass will get heavy and plexiglass can start the bend over time. Do consider wood mounting, it’s clean, modern and safe at larger sizes, plus it’s scratch resistant. Another interesting mounting option is acrylic. Since light can pass through the acrylic, the piece looks as though it’s floating on the wall. Email email@example.com for more details.
Do I get a mat?
Your print will arrive signed and in a white acid-free mat for sizes 16″ x 20″ and under. Any print larger than 16″ x 20″ will arrive rolled with acid-free paper in a tube.
Can you frame it for me?
Yes, for sizes 16″ x 20″ and under. You have the choice of a wood/glass frame or a clip frame. Below is a sample of what the wood/glass frame looks like.
What’s wood mounting?
Wood mounting is a great option for hanging art on your wall. It’s made from 3/8″ solid backing board that’s detailed with beveled edges and finished in black, then laminated with a UV filtering film. It’s fingerprint, moisture and fade resistant plus easy to hang. When viewing, it simply looks like the photo is “framed” by a thin black line. Art goes all the way to edge creating maximum impact.
How do you ship your work?
I tend to trust FedEx. Eastern tri-state area locals can choose to pick up and if possible, I can drop off and even install.
What’s your return policy?
In a nutshell, if you’re unhappy with my work, simply return it within 15 days of purchase for a full refund (not including shipping). Just send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll make it right.
