Sunshine
Urbaniak
As an abstract painter (www.sunurbaniak.com),
I've always been drawn to flowers for their amazing color, texture
and light. They've always been my favorite subject matter to
photograph. Over the course of my life, I've been trying to capture
what I see and now, finally, feel satisfied to share my visions
with the world.
I look at my photographs as pieces of art, abstract art made
by nature. Just like a painting, every flower is an original
piece and I try to capture it in all its beauty. I use a Pentax
istDS digital SLR with a Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro
1:1 lens. I do minimal photoshop enhancements. It's not my intent
to change Mother Nature's creations.
I chose macro photography to become one with the petals,
to feel enveloped by it's form and mostly to prove that art can
be seen in everything–you
just have to look closely. Please visit my gallery often as I'm
always adding new works.

Studios, a creative graphic design firm located in Alameda,
CA. She provides photography services to her clients on a project
